Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has personally told Bayern Munich that the Spanish giants have “no intention” of making a move for Michael Olise this summer, according to a report.
Forward Olise is “determined” to leave Bayern and was “no longer hiding his desire” to make the move while he was with France’s squad at the World Cup, L’Equipe said on Thursday.
Los Blancos, who released a statement in June emphasising that they had not made any contact with Olise, have privately reiterated to the reigning German champions that they will not approach the 24-year-old, Sky Germany have now reported.

Michael Olise transfer: No Madrid bid
Bayern “trust Perez 100” based on their “exceptional relationship” with Madrid, the outlet added, claiming that Olise and his agent reaffirmed their commitment during the World Cup to Die Roten, who remain steadfast that the player is not for sale.
Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni and Kylian Mbappe were part of France’s squad, with L’Equipe reporting that Bayern and Les Bleus defender Dayot Upamecano has been attempting to persuade Olise not to make a move.
Perez promised during his successful re-election campaign that he would break the club’s transfer record this summer, eclipsing the total of £108 million Madrid paid Borussia Dortmund for Jude Bellingham, who arrived in June 2023.
Bayern Munich: Madrid ‘can save trouble’ over Olise
In June, Bayern president Herbert Hainer said the six-time European champions are “not a selling club”.
“Should Florentino Perez be thinking about sending us an offer – which he hasn’t done so far – he should save himself the trouble,” Hainer told fans, via Bundesliga.
As they prepare for the first season of head coach Jose Mourinho’s second spell in charge, Madrid have made two signing for fees this summer by adding wideman Denzel Dumfries from Inter for £17.1m and full-back Marc Cucurella from Chelsea for £47.4m.
Ibrahima Konate joined following the end of the centre-back’s deal at Liverpool, as did playmaker Bernardo Silva after his contract finished at Manchester City.
Michael Olise stats
A former Arsenal, Chelsea and City youth player, Olise came through the ranks at Reading before joining Crystal Palace in 2021.
The Londoner joined Bayern for £50.8m in 2024, winning the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season award in 2024/25 and the Player of the Season honour the following campaign.
Olise made 53 direct goal contributions in 52 club matches in 2025/26 and set up five goals as France reached the World Cup semi-finals.
A senior debutant for his country in 2024, Olise was eligible to play for France through his parents and first played for them at Under-18 level.
