Manchester United tipped to offer more than €60 million for Frenchman

Manchester United have been linked with a major transfer on Friday.

A report from Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Manchester United are interested in signing the AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez and could be willing to offer more than €60 million for the French international defender.

It is added that Manchester United are not content with their options in the left-back position, and they are looking to bring in reinforcements.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are their left-back options heading into the new season and whilst not the best of the best, they are still decent players.

And as Manchester United have much more pressing areas to strengthen this summer, it is 101′s belief that a move for Hernandez – especially at the quoted €60m price – is unlikely.

The Red Devils have budget issues this summer due to FFP and spending €60m on a left-back seems like a serious mistake.

Manchester United still need to complete a move for Andre Onana, whilst also bringing in at least one striker.
