Manchester City transfer news: Wonderkid signed, three left-backs targeted

Here is all the latest Manchester City transfer news.

First, Manchester City has closed a deal with Argentine wonderkid Maximo Perrone, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer pundit suggested that there is a verbal agreement in place between the two parties. The Sky Blues will shell out $8m for Perrone’s signature along with taxes.

Next, according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Manchester City are considering making a move for Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy in the upcoming window.

Mendy is reportedly no longer wanted at Real Madrid, who are looking to make space for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol. Pep Guardiola is keen on signing the French defender to add depth to his full-back positions.

Sticking with left-backs, according to reports in the Calciomercatoweb, Manchester City are monitoring the progress of Wolves’ French defender Rayan Ait-Nouri. Pep Guardiola is said to be an admirer of the fullback.

The same outlet adds Manchester City are considering making a move for Borussia Dortmund full-back Raphael Guerreiro, as they continue to keep tabs on him despite failing to sign the Portuguese defender in the summer window.
