Premier League outfit Crystal Palace are pushing to secure the signature of a key member of the attacking setup at Watford, according to reports.
The player in the sights of the Eagles? Ismaila Sarr.
As per a report from the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic, wide-man Sarr has been identified as a prime target on the part of Patrick Vieira and co.
This comes amid ongoing efforts to reinforce the club’s options out wide.
In turn, ‘negotiations have been going on in the background for a few weeks’, between officials from Palace, and Sarr’s France-based representatives.
It is reiterated that, at present, no agreement is in place, though, with the powers that be at Selhurst Park yet to move forward with an opening proposal.
Sarr, for his part, is fresh off a strong start to the new campaign.
Across a trio of Championship appearances, Watford’s star man has notched a goal and an assist, the former of which came in the form of an early Goal of the Season contender during a meeting with West Brom.
