Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are eyeing a swoop for a key member of the frontline at Premier League rivals Everton, according to reports.
The Toffees star in the sights of the London giants? Anthony Gordon.
Wide-man Gordon has of course seen his list of admirers continue to grow since finally establishing himself as a first-team regular on Merseyside this past season.
The 21-year-old boasts a whole host of impressive traits, combining pace, quick feet, and an altogether stellar work rate.
In turn, the aforementioned Chelsea, known to be on the lookout for further reinforcements out wide despite the capture of Raheem Sterling, are now understood to have turned their attentions towards Gordon.
This comes after the Kirkdale native evidently did enough to impress the powers that be at Stamford Bridge during the Premier League opener between the two clubs last weekend.

As per a report from Tom Roddy of The Times, ‘Chelsea are interested in signing the Everton forward Anthony Gordon as the west London club’s new ownership aim to invest in the future.’
Everton, for their part, have continued to push the line that Gordon, despite mounting interest, is not for sale.
It is hinted that such a stance could potentially be weakened in the case of a £50 million being received, though.
Alternatively, Chelsea could attempt to take advantage of Everton’s interest in Armando Broja, as part of a cash-plus-player deal.
