Chelsea looked to have suffered a major injury blow in the form of their captain Reece James.
The defender has been hampered by injuries over the past two years.
He made just 24 appearances last season with injuries sidling him for large parts of the season.
The 23-year-old now appears to have suffered another relapse following Sunday’s draw with Newcastle.
James suffers injury setback
Reece James has picked up a fresh hamstring injury, according to Nathan Gissing.
The defender is due to have a scan later on today to determine the extent of the injury.
The Blues will be hoping this is not as serious with Malo Gusto set to replace him in the team.
