Leicester City head coach Wesley Fofana has, on Tuesday, provided an update on the future of in-demand defender Wesley Fofana.
The future of Frenchman Fofana, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the media headlines of late.
This comes after the 21-year-old was identified as a prime summer target on the part of Leicester’s Premier League rivals, Chelsea.
The Blues are on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-half on the back of the respective free agent departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, with Fofana viewed as an option not only for the present, but the future, too.
To this point, however, the efforts of the powers that be at Stamford Bridge to strike a deal have proven to be in vain.
This comes with Leicester’s board having continued to stand firm in their mammoth demands for the club’s star stopper.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday evening, though, it nevertheless came as little surprise when the subject of Fofana’s future was put to his manager.
And Brendan Rodgers, first, confirmed that Leicester have both received and rebuffed a fresh Chelsea proposal.
The Northern Irishman then went on to reveal that Fofana is currently training with the club’s U23 setup, as punishment for failing to report to a first-team session last week.
