Championship outfit Birmingham City are mounting a concerted push to bring in a 2nd up-and-coming Manchester United academy product ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, according to reports.
For those not aware, Birmingham, earlier today, sealed a deal for one Red Devils starlet.
The player in question? Hannibal Mejbri.
In a series of posts across the club’s social media platforms, the Blues announced that 19-year-old Hannibal has made the move to St. Andrew’s on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

As alluded to above, though, should Birmingham have their way, then Hannibal will not be the only member of the youth setup on the red half of Manchester linking up with John Eustace’s side with a view to the new campaign.
The west Midlands club are also expressing a keen interest in Tahith Chong.
This of course comes after the 22-year-old Dutchman spent last season plying his trade on loan at St. Andrew’s.
Unlike in the case of Hannibal, the move could even prove to be a permanent one, albeit with another temporary agreement not out of the question, either.
Manchester United and Birmingham City are in advanced talks also for Tahith Chong. Been told could be a permanent transfer with BCFC now pushing. 🚨🔵 #BCFC
