Barcelona transfer news: De Jong latest, free agent targeted & more

Here is all the latest Barcelona transfer news.

First up, Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has revealed that he’s not ready to let go off Frenkie De Jong in the upcoming transfer window, according to the SUN.

The former Ajax midfielder has been heavily linked with a reunion with his former manager at Manchester United. But the Spanish manager has claimed that no Barcelona player will be leaving this season as he looks to challenge for the title.

Next, Spanish outlet Relevo has reported that former Barcelona player Gerard Pique could come out of return to play for his own club FC Andorra.

The 2010 World Cup Winner owns the second-division club and could be seen playing for them really soon. The veteran defender retired from football just before the World Cup break but could be looking to get back on the field with Andorra.

Elsewhere, SPORT have reported that Barcelona are contemplating signing Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace on a free transfer. Owing to the FFP regulations, the Catalan giants must sign players for free in the transfer window and Zaha is out of contract in the summer, so he can now sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.
