Arsenal scouting La Liga midfielder and Premier League defender

Arsenal are reportedly scouting two players ahead of the summer window.

Arsenal have had a solid 2022/23 season. The Gunners led in the title race until Sunday but Manchester City now look set to win another title.

And whilst many will mock Arsenal for ‘bottling’ the title in April, Mikel Arteta’s side have still massively overachieved.

They finished 8th, 8th and 5th in previous seasons, so getting second place in 2022/23 is still a big step forward.

But if Arsenal want to sustain a proper title charge next term, they need to add some quality depth to their squad.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Arsenal’s interest in two players:

“I’ve mentioned Arsenal and Chelsea’s interest in Yunus Musah and it is the case that they are following Musah since January; Inter as well,” he said.

“At the moment it’s just scouting and not advanced yet, but Musah has good chances to move this summer.”

Elsewhere, Romano added: “There’s nothing advanced with Arsenal and Marc Guehi, but they are monitoring him, it’s just normal scouting. No decision has been made and there’s nothing concrete at this stage on Guehi but many top clubs are following him.”

Romano also stated that he is not aware of anything with Arsenal and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, despite reports from elsewhere:

“There have been reports of Dusan Vlahovic’s agent offering him to Arsenal, but I’m not aware of that, honestly,” he said. “Arsenal are not working to sign Vlahovic at this stage and there’s absolutely nothing to report on that front.”
