According to Media Foot, Arsenal are keeping tabs on Club Brugge striker Jutgla, and could make a move in January.

Jutgla joined Club Brugge over the summer from FC Barcelona and has now scored eight and assisted five in 14 outings for the Belgian outfit.

Despite not being at Brugge long, the above report claims that Jutgla is unlikely to be at the Belgian club for much longer, with multiple clubs interested in securing his signature.

No potential fee is mentioned in the report.

Should Arsenal sign Jutgla, the man he would likely replace is Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah is currently playing second fiddle to Gabriel Jesus, but scored on Thursday in the Europa League.

“When he puts the ball in the back of the net! For any manager, this is the best moment. Obviously his work rate, attitude and application is just phenomenal but he’s got this natural ability (to score) and he does it every time,” Arteta said.

I am really happy to have him in the team. He has the qualities to play for this team in any role – as a starter, finisher, however you call him. We all love his attitude and the qualities he has so we are happy to have him.”

On leaving Nketiah out despite his solid goal return, Arteta added: “It does and the good thing is today he could have scored a couple more. You have to look at what you have done (which is) great, but what can you do better? That’s his mentality and this is where we want to take him. When you see how he has evolved in the last year or two, he still has a lot of room to do that.”
