Arsenal, Chelsea & Manchester United to miss out on striker signing

One player will not be heading to a new club in the summer window despite links to the likes of Manchester United.

The player in question is Tammy Abraham, who played his final game of the season on Sunday.

The England international striker fell awkwardly during a final day outing for Roma against Spezia at the end of the 2022/23 Serie A season. He was challenging for the ball when his leg gave way beneath him, leaving the 25-year-old in agony before leaving the field on a medical cart.

Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Abraham has damaged knee ligaments, with it possible that he will be ruled out of action until November or December.

This, of course, rules out a summer move for the striker, who the Evening Standard claim Roma were ready to cash in on.

A number of clubs have been linked with the striker, who scored nine goals in the league this past season.

The main names linked have been Manchester United, Arsenal and his former club, Chelsea.
