Antonio Conte suggests that Tottenham could be done in the transfer window

Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media about Tottenham’s transfer business.

Tottenham Hotspur have had an incredible transfer window bringing in six new players and a possible seventh.

Destiny Udogie looks set to be the last of seven new signings as he arrives from Udinese.

Now, Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media about the possibility of further incomings.

Conte: “It would be foolish to ask for a lot of players”

Conte believes that Tottenham have been sensible in the transfer market this summer.

The Italian also understands that he has to be realistic and cannot expect everything to be done in one window.

But overall, he sounds very happy with what Spurs have done and suggests that any further additions are unlikely.

Conte told the media: “We improved in this way but I know I can’t have everything quickly but it would be foolish to ask for a lot of players and spend a lot of money.

“We’re doing the right things with common sense, not to spend the money on many players.

“Also, this is not the politics of the club, I understand this.

“We have to go in the right way, doing the right things.”
