Premier League giants Chelsea have closed an agreement for the club’s latest summer signing, according to reports.
The player set to take his talents to Stamford Bridge with a view to the new campaign? Cesare Casadei.
Italian starlet Casadei has of course been tipped for a move to west London for several weeks now.
Having been identified by Thomas Tuchel and co. as a potential star in the making, the Pensioners, despite understandable resistance on the part of Inter Milan, have pushed hard to find a deal suited to all parties.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, the powers that be at Chelsea have managed precisely that.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Inter have finally agreed to allow their midfield prodigy to depart, after the club’s considerable valuation was met.
Chelsea, in turn, are set to fork over a sum of €15 million, plus a potential five million in bonuses, to bring Casadei to Stamford Bridge.
The Italian youth international will put pen to paper on a six-year contract with the London giants, ahead of undergoing his medical over the course of the next 48 hours.
