The player in question is Jorginho, who joined Arsenal in the latest January transfer window from Chelsea for around £10m.
The Italian featured fairly heavily for Arsenal in the second half of the campaign, making 16 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal now look set to revitalise their midfield ahead of the 2023/24 season, with both Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey tipped for Emirates exits.
The main two names linked to replace them have been Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo.
