Juventus star Adrien Rabiot has, on Monday, dropped a considerable hint that his future lies away from Turin.

The last week, of course, has seen French international Rabiot hotly tipped to seal a move to the Premier League.

This comes owing to surprise interest on the part of Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.

On the back of a nightmare opening to the new campaign, the powers that be at Old Trafford are understood to have identified the former Paris Saint-Germain standout as a prime target to reinforce the club’s midfield ranks.

A deal worth a sum in the region of €17 million is therefore understood to have been agreed between the two clubs, with Juventus happy to sell ahead of the expiration of Rabiot’s contract in 12 months’ time.

An agreement with the midfielder’s notorious mother-agent Veronique, in turn, must now be found.

This comes after the 27-year-old, on Monday afternoon, was involved in a noteworthy exchange with a fan.

During the conversation between the pair, the supporter in question attempted to push Rabiot into confirming his move to the Premier League, in explaining:

“I am here with the great player Rabiot, of Juventus, now going to play in England. So I wish you the best brother. Bye bye.”

And the midfield enigma himself did not make any effort to deny as much, in responding simply with:

“Thank you. Bye.”
