Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison was not face retrospective punishment for his actions on the back of the club’s defeat to rivals Arsenal, it has been confirmed.
The subject of the post-match chaos, of course, took its place front and centre in the headlines following last weekend’s latest edition of the North London Derby.
This came, for the most part, owing to a supporter emerging from the home crowd, to direct a kick into the back of Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale.

This incident, though, actually only came about after tensions had been pushed to boiling point by the aforementioned Richarlison.
As Aaron Ramsdale turned to celebrate in front of Tottenham’s supporters, the English international was approached in aggressive fashion by the summer addition to Antonio Conte’s squad, who went on to direct a pair of shoves into Ramsdale’s head.
Calls, in turn, quickly spread post-match, for Richarlison to be slapped with a retrospective ban.
This comes with confirmation having been forthcoming this evening that, in fact, Richarlison will not face charges over his actions last Sunday.
As per Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail: ‘The incident was seen and managed by the match officials and there is no evidence for retrospective action.’
