Tottenham team news & predicted line-up vs Arsenal

In this piece, we take a look at the latest Tottenham team news ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash with Arsenal.

On Sunday it’s another crucial north London derby with both teams fighting for key objectives this season.

The Gunners are looking to win their first Premier League title in almost 20 years whilst Tottenham are looking to get back into the top four.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be hoping to show they can deal with the pressure of leading the title race, but for Spurs, the emphasis to win is on them being the home side and the need to close the gap on the top four and their north London rivals.

Ahead of the clash, 101 Great Goals has taken a look at Spurs’ team news…

Predicted Tottenham line-up vs Arsenal

Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski is back and available for selection after missing Spurs’ last three matches with a minor injury.

The Swede has been key for Spurs this season, with the team yet to lose when he has started.

His return on the weekend will be a major boost and he is expected to start from the off replacing Bryan Gil.

Rodrigo Bentancur

However, it is very likely that Rodrigo Bentancur will miss out.

The midfielder returned from the World Cup with an injury.

He suffered a minor groin tear during Uruguay’s final group game and has struggled to recover so far.

Missing the Uruguayan will make life a lot harder for Spurs, with the midfielder being vitally important for them this season.

Richarlison

Richarlison also returned from the World Cup injured.

The Brazilian has been struggling with a thigh injury and looks set to miss the weekend’s derby.

He would have been a great option for Conte off the bench, but once again, the Italian will be left short of attacking options.

Lucas Moura

Lucas Moura’s campaign has been plagued by injury.

The forward has made just 11 appearances this season.

A calf injury has prevented him from playing for the majority of this term.
