Tottenham have warned Villarreal that it will cost them £17m to keep Giovani Lo Celso on a permanent deal this summer, following a successful loan spell with Unai Emery's side.
The Argentinian midfielder, who did not feature in Antonio Conte's plans, joined the Spanish side in January, making 16 La Liga appearances as well as featuring prominently on Villarreal's run to the Champions League semi-final.
And, having been signed for a total of over £40m from Real Betis, it seems as though the Lilywhites are keen to recoup whatever they can for the 26-year-old, as they themselves look to fund a turnover of the squad.
Who else could leave?
Tanguy Ndombele is another that could depart this summer, having been let out on loan along with Lo Celso in January. However, Lyon are thought to be unwilling to activate the £60m option to buy written into the short-term deal.
Harry Winks is also free to depart, should anyone match the £25m asking price set on the Englishman's head, while Steven Bergwijn could also leave north London and return to the Eredivisie this summer.
Both fullbacks, in the form of Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal, could also leave should suitable offers come in for the pair, with Conte looking to upgrade on his wing-backs and Ivan Perisic on the verge of joining the club.
