Tottenham “open talks” with Serie A midfielder and Adama Traore latest
Tottenham have opened talks with Fiorentina over a late loan move for midfield outcast Sofyan Amrabat as they look for cover in central midfield.
Amrabat was a regular feature in La Violaβs side last campaign, but has fallen by the wayside since the loan arrival of Arsenalβs Lucas Torreira who, ironically, may have helped Spurs land their man.
Sofyan Amrabat is on Tottenham list, first contacts took place on Sunday. Talks ongoing β deal also depends on Tanguy Ndombele loan move to PSG. All parties involved are in talks. βͺοΈ #THFC

The Moroccan, currently at the Africa Cup of Nations, has managed just one start for the Florentines this campaign, with his role largely one-off of the bench. However, he has been identified by Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici as an opportunity to pounce for the Lilywhites.
It would be an odd move for the north London side, who are seemingly in need of a midfield creator rather than another defensive option. However, it is perhaps a damning indictment of how Conte sees his current options in the position.
Adama Traore latest
While a deal for Adama Traore is edging closer, there is still reported discussions over just how the deal will be structured.
As per Dan Kilpatrick of the London Evening Standard, Tottenham are still pursuing a deal that is an initial loan with an obligation to buy the Spaniard come the end of the season, as Conte looks to convert him into an attacking wing-back in the same way that he did with Victor Moses at Chelsea.
It remains unclear whether Wolves will accept such a deal, although there is βconfidenceβ within the Spurs camp that a deal will be reached and Traore will be calling north London home come the end of January.
