Tottenham fans will love Antonio Conte’s prediction for Oliver Skipp

How Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp is viewed by current boss Antonio Conte has been revealed recently.

Skipp returned to Spurs this past summer after a successful loan spell with Norwich. The young midfielder slotted straight into the elven and was impressing a great deal.

His form then dropped off, but, when Antonio Conte took charge, Skipp became an integral part of the Italian’s system.

And now, have revealed that Skipp has quickly become a firm favourite of the Italian's and the stats clearly show that when he's in the starting line-up, Spurs win most of their matches.

It is added that Conte believes Skipp can become one of the top midfielders in the game and with Spurs struggling for consistency, the Tottenham boss wants him back from a groin injury.

However, when speaking about Skipp on Friday, Conte suggested that the problem that has kept Skipp out of their last five league games has not been sorted.

"He’s not ready, he’s having this problem with groin pain, and is fighting and he could recover before but maybe something was wrong, and now we have to wait," he said.

Tottenham vs Everton

Tottenham’s next outing, which they look set to be without Skipp for, comes against Everton on Monday.

The Toffees have lost four of their last five league ties and are very much in a relegation battle now.

Could this be the game Spurs need to bounce back from that shocking 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup?
