This article will see us focus on Nottingham Forest.

Forest are back in the Premier League for the first time this century after winning the 2021/22 Championship play-offs.

They ended 2021/22 with the best defence in the Championship and also have some decent attacking options.

With this in mind, 101 have taken a look at the best Nottingham Forest players for your FPL team.

Brennan Johnson, forward (6.0m)

Johnson ended 2021/22 as Nottingham Forest’s top goalscorer and joint top assist provider.

As a result, he is expected to be amongst those considered when eyeing a budget forward. And whilst the likes of Dominic Solanke (6.0m) and Aleksandr Mitrovic (6.5m), scored more goals than Johnson last term, he was able to provide more assists due to Forest playing with two up top.

Johnson was also Forest’s penalty taker for much of last season.

Will he be able to replicate his solid form in the Premier League? It remains to be seen, but he could be a good budget shout if you need a cheap forward to partner someone like Erling Haaland.

Ryan Yates, midfielder (5.0m)

As midfielders are awarded five points for a goal on FPL, finding a goal-scoring midfielder is a smart thing to do.

And Yates, even though he is just 5.0m and operates as a central midfielder, is exactly that, netting nine and assisting two for Forest last term.

Taiwo Awoniyi, forward (6.0m)

The final Nottingham Forest player you may wish to bring in is new signing, Taiwo Awoniyi.

Awoniyi arrived from Union Berlin earlier this summer, for whom he scored 20 and assisted five in 43 outings last term.

Awoniyi is expected to partner Johnson in Forest’s front two and could be an excellent differential pick.
