The article will see us focus on FA Cup and League Cup holders, Liverpool.

Liverpool have been one of the best sides in England over the last four years and, as a result, have a lot of great picks on FPL.

The Reds often rival Manchester City for the best defensive and attacking records in the division, meaning their players score plenty of points each week.

Now, 101 have taken a look at the top three Liverpool players you should sign for your FPL team.

Mohamed Salah, midfielder (13.0m)

At 13.0m, Mohamed Salah is the most expensive player in FPL once again.

However, as is the case every season, the Egyptian is a must-have if you are to stand any chance of finishing high in your respective FPL leagues.

Salah ended 2021/22 with the joint-most goals in the Premier League, at 23. He also notched the most assists in the English top-flight with 13, making him the highest-scoring player on FPL yet again.

Alexander-Arnold, defender (7.5m)

Again, Trent Alexander-Arnold is an expensive defender but he is one you probably should have in your side.

Liverpool are superb defensively and kept 20 clean sheets last year, which is great for TAA's points record.

But what sets Alexander-Arnold apart from other defenders is his impressive assist tally. Last season, the Englishman provided 12 assists in the Premier League, a total only bettered by the aforementioned Salah.

Luis Diaz, midfielder (8.0m)

The last player you should consider signing from Liverpool is Luis Diaz. At 8.0m, the Colombian could be a serious bargain on FPL this year.

The winger had a superb first half season in England earlier this year and, now that Sadio Mane has left the club, it is expected that Diaz will see a lot more action this coming campaign.

Granted, with Diogo Jota also a natural left-winger, there is a risk of rotation, but Jurgen Klopp appeared to prefer Diaz to Jota on the left this past season.
