Thomas Tuchel has spoken out about his Chelsea future after the Blues’ win over Newcastle.
Chelsea played host to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon, looking to end the Magpies’ 10-game unbeaten run.
The game itself was not the most entertaining with neither outfit creating an awful lot.
In the end, though, a great ball from Jorginho and a lapse in concentration from Dan Brun allowed Kai Havertz to net Chelsea a later winner:
Heartbreak for Newcastle! 💔
It’s been all about Kai Havertz today and it’s he who scores in the final moments to win it, SCENES! ⚡

Following the game, Tuchel was asked if he will still be Chelsea manager at the end of the season.
This comes after the German’s future was thrown up in the air due to the ongoing situation with owner Roman Abramovich.
Tuchel: “Yes for sure, there’s no doubt I stay until the end of the season. You have to go day-by-day because the situation can change.” #CFC #CHENEW

Lille vs Chelsea
Chelsea are now set to face off with Lille in a Champions League tie on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea head into the game boasting a 2-0 lead from the first leg and are expected to quite easily advance to the quarter-finals.
With the sanctions currently in place at Chelsea, there was some uncertainty if they could actually afford to travel to Lille, but Tuchel has confirmed that they do have a plane to travel to Lille:
Brilliant from Tuchel: “My last information is we have a plane [for Lille] and we can go by plane and come back by plane.
“If not we go by train, if not by bus, if not I will drive a seven-seater.” #CFC
