Thomas Tuchel speaks out on Chelsea future after Newcastle

Thomas Tuchel has spoken out about his Chelsea future after the Blues’ win over Newcastle.

This comes after the German’s future was thrown up in the air due to the ongoing situation with owner Roman Abramovich.

When speaking post-Newcastle, though, Tuchel insisted he will still be at Chelsea come the end of 2021/22: "Yes for sure, there's no doubt I stay until the end of the season. You have to go day-by-day because the situation can change."

Lille vs Chelsea

Chelsea are now set to face off with Lille in a Champions League tie on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea head into the game boasting a 2-0 lead from the first leg and are expected to quite easily advance to the quarter-finals.

With the sanctions currently in place at Chelsea, there was some uncertainty if they could actually afford to travel to Lille, but Tuchel has confirmed that they do have a plane to travel to Lille:
