Thomas Tuchel reveals what he wants from new Chelsea owners

Thomas Tuchel has been speaking to the media on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Chelsea’s next outing.

Chelsea are set to face off with Real Madrid in the first of two Champions League quarter-final games on Wednesday evening at Stamford Bridge.

Ahead of the game, Tuchel was asked what he wants from a new owner. This of course comes amid Roman Abramovich’s attempts to sell Chelsea FC.

And as per Tuchel, he is looking for a strong squad, confidence and support from any potential new owner: “A strong squad and confidence and support,” Tuchel said when asked about a new owner.

Thomas Tuchel on Andreas Christensen’s commitment.

Elsewhere, Thomas Tuchel has been quizzed on the commitment of Andreas Christensen.

Tuchel, though, is apparently not concerned about the centre-back’s commitment: “No concerns. Maybe it is a big more challenging for him that normal in a moment where everything is clear. But maybe he cleared his future. I don't know it yet, but for me it is very clear when I had conversations with him last summer and through winter.

“The bottom line was that as long as he is my player, I will not expect anything less than 100% commitment. This is what I demand for him. That he was out Saturday was nothing personal, just a tactical choice. He is our player and we want to have the most of him. He needs to be focus. This is his job and it's what we expect.”
