Milan take on Chelsea later today in what could prove a huge game in deciding who makes it into the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Chelsea smashed Milan 3-0 in their first meeting earlier this week and as a result, have moved up to second place with four points.
Milan also have four points but a worse goal difference. So, if Chelsea win on Tuesday, there is a very good chance they will be making it into the knockout rounds next year.
RB Salzburg currently top the group with five points but have to play both Milan and Chelsea again.
Now, ahead of the match, Thiago Silva has been discussing his Chelsea contract, which is due to expire at the end of this season.
Speaking ahead of the Champions League clash against former club AC Milan, Silva explained his approach to his contract situation. “It is probably not the right time to talk about contracts,” he said at the San Siro. “What I can tell you is, for me it is important to continue playing at the highest level and help the team achieve the highest possible results.
“The time will come to talk and it could be time before or after the World Cup. I need to decide my contract for my family arrangements and it is not easy. We will see what will happen.”
