The TEN club records Chelsea broke in dismal 2022-23 season

It was a memorable season for all the wrong reasons in west London

Chelsea endured a season to forget in 2022-23, with the club going through three managers and only managing to score two more goals as a squad than Erling Haaland did by himself across the course of the campaign.

Beginning the season in chaos, Thomas Tuchel was quickly sacked, and Graham Potter was brought in to try and turn their fortunes around as they eyed up a spot in the top 4.

That, however, was a disaster, and after just seven months a Chelsea boss was fired once more, leading to the return of Frank Lampard, fresh off the back of being sacked by relegation candidates Everton, for the final games of the season.

He managed to win just one of his 11 games in charge, losing eight in the process, and continued to struggle with a bloated squad.

In a season that will live long in the memory of Chelsea fans for all of the wrong reasons, records fell left right and centre, with almost every week throwing up a new undesirable record for the Blues to match or beat.

And, according to one Reddit user, 10 massive records were sent tumbling, involving managerial changes, transfer fees and on the pitch perfomances.

The records Chelsea broke this season
