The brilliant way Mikel Arteta is lifting spirits at Arsenal

Mikel Arteta is attempting to lift the spirits of his squad after their title push collapsed.

Arsenal saw their 2022/23 Premier League title hopes come to an end last weekend when they fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton.

Manchester City can now win the league title this weekend, either by having Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s late kick-off or by beating Chelsea on Sunday to lift their 5th league title in 6 seasons.

After coming so close to winning the Premier League for the first time since 2004 and then bottling it in their latest run of games, the mood at Arsenal is sure to be low.

However, Mikel Arteta has come up with a plan to boost morale.

As per The Times, Mikel Arteta has made his latest signing to enhance the feelgood vibe at Arsenal, and it is a chocolate Labrador.

The dog, who is affectionately called ‘Win’, spends most days at the club’s training ground at London Colney, Hertfordshire.
