Southampton 2 – Bournemouth 1

Huge. Massive. Enormous!

Southampton had to win on Saturday to maintain their Premier League survival hopes, and they did just that against Bournemouth.

A brace from Dusan Tadic handed Mark Hughes’s men a huge win in their bid to beat the drop.

Mario Lemina teed up Tadic for Saints’ opener. Josh King levelled for Bournemouth on the stroke of halftime.

Tadic won the match early in the second half when he won possession near the halfway line, advanced towards the Cherries box, and he finished with an eye-catching punted technique which beat Asmir Begovic.
