Manchester United are set to once again compete for a place in the top four and potentially for the Premier League title.
On paper, Arsenal have a better squad than Manchester United and have so far had a much better summer transfer window.
However, there is at least one area of Arsenal’s squad Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is not impressed by.
When trying to put together an Arsenal/United XI recently, the former defender was quick to play down Ben White’s ability and suggested right-back is an area Arsenal need to improve in a lot:
“He’s not better than the two right-backs at Man United. No, not for me [he wasn’t second best in the Premier League]. I thought Ben White was solid but that’s it. I think that’s the one area of their team where you look and think there is a room for a lot of improvement there, if they are going to challenge for more.
“White may be better defensively, but I think going forward Dalot is better than him.”
