Erling Haaland looks set to miss Manchester City’s major clash with Liverpool.
The defending champions will need to beat the Reds to stand any real hope of catching Arsenal.
However, they could be without their star striker who has been struggling with a groin injury.
Haaland misses training
Erling Haaland missed Manchester City training this morning.
The striker has been struggling with a groin injury.
He was sent home early from international duty to avoid risking it becoming worse.
Now, the 22-year-old’s absence from training suggests he could be very unlikely to face Liverpool.
City are looking to cut the 8-point gap at the top to Arsenal and host the Reds on Saturday lunchtime.
Julian Alvarez could be given a start if Haaland fails to recover in time.
