Revealed: The strict rules Manchester United players must follow under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has his squad adhere to a strict set of rules.

Erik ten Hag is currently in the midst of his first season as Manchester United manager.

The Dutchman took the reins over the summer and has set about rebuilding a very broken club.

Ten Hag has done a pretty decent job so far. Manchester United are currently 4th in the Premier League and are just four points off Manchester City, who they play later today.

However, Ten Hag has had to deal with his fair share of issues during his short stint in England. The main one being Cristiano Ronaldo, who hit out at the club and Ten Hag during an explosive interview with Pires Morgan.

Following that interview, Manchester United released Ronaldo, sending a clear message that nobody was above the club.

In-form Marcus Rashford was also dropped to the bench for a minor issue recently.

As per Goal: “The players must follow a strict dress code when representing the club, ensure they eat at a certain time at Carrington as well as follow a ban on mobile phone usage while on away trips. During their summer trip to Bangkok, Ten Hag was reportedly dismayed at how his players looked, wandering around their hotel in sliders and unmatching clothes, and therefore introduced the dress code.”
