Spanish giants Real Madrid have, on Thursday afternoon, unveiled the panel of stars primed to partake in this weekend's showdown with Liverpool.

Los Blancos, of course, are set to bring their campaign, and the European season as a whole, to a close this coming Saturday.

A meeting with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool lies in wait, in a highly-anticipated redo of the 2017/18 Champions League finale.

On this occasion, the action is set to take place in Paris, with Klopp's Reds viewed as favourites in the eyes of most, amid the club's ongoing pursuit of a clean sweep of cup titles this season.

Real, though, have defied the odds time and time again to this point in the competition, and will no doubt be confident of doing so once more in a little over 48 hours' time, to add ever further to their status as European football's most dominant club.

And now, as alluded to above, the panel of players set to be at the disposal of Carlo Ancelotti amid Los Merengues' pursuit of a silverware double has been unveiled.

The La Liga champions' squad to face Liverpool features a whole host of recognisable faces, with the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema all featuring.

Too set to be involved on Saturday are veteran defender Marcelo, primed to bring his iconic Real stint to a close versus Liverpool, and Eden Hazard, who will no doubt be hopeful of making his mark off the bench on the back of a timely return to fitness.
