Real Madrid promise ‘anti-Haaland’ clause in bid to beat Chelsea and PSG to major transfer

Los Blancos are keen to inject more youth into their side.

Real Madrid have agreed an ‘anti Erling Haaland’ clause with teenage sensation Endrick as they look to ensure his signature ahead of both Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

The 16-year-old has already made his debut for the Palmeiras senior side, grabbing three goals and an assist in five games for the Brazilian outfit.

And the wonderkid netted on his first start for the club, helping his side clinch the Brazilian Serie A title in the process, and is being courted widely across Europe.

As per multiple reports, however, the race for his signature is down to three clubs, with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain all in the race to bring him to Europe.

And, in a bid to beat the other sides to his signature, Los Blancos have agreed to end their pursuit of Erling Haaland, who they reportedly have a release clause to sign him from Manchester City in 2024 too.

“One of the priorities of the entire environment of Endrick was none other than to have the path clear for the future , that is, not to coincide in space and time with Haaland”, Marca report.

The agreement, which would in turn likely see Haaland remain in Manchester, would mean Endrick would effectively become first choice for Real Madrid as soon as he arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2024, with no club able to bring him to Europe until he turns 18 years old.
