Real Madrid have been handed some concerning news ahead of their upcoming meeting with Chelsea.
Real and Chelsea will face off in the first of two Champions League quarter-final ties on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge. The pair will then meet at the Bernabeu a week later for the second leg.
Ahead of the game though, some less than positive news regarding Carlo Ancelotti has emerged.
Football.london citing Spanish outlet AS report that Real Madrid are sweating over Ancelotti’s welfare, with the Italian a doubt for their Champions League clash with Chelsea on Wednesday evening.
Ancelotti missed out on Los Blancos’ 2-1 victory against Celta Vigo at the weekend having tested positive for Covid-19 and whilst the former Chelsea boss is said to be fine, he is still returning positive tests for the virus so could potentially be forced to sit out the trip to Stamford Bridge.
