Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday evening, to send a collective message to both the powers that be at the club, and attacker Marco Asensio.
For those not aware, Spanish international Asensio played a starring role for Los Blancos once more tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla for a La Liga meeting with relegation-battling Cadiz.
And, when all was said and done, an utterly dominant performance on the part of the visitors gave rise to a deserved 2-0 triumph.
Nacho was first on target for Real, driving home a fine effort from long range:

With the gifted wide-man, despite a lack of starter’s minutes, having now directly contributed to 16 goals across all competitions this season, calls have spread like wildfire for Asensio to be rewarded with a new contract, ahead of the expiration of his current terms this summer:
