PSG make 100m Manchester United target their no.1 priority this summer

The French side are keen to bolster their attack at the end of the season

Paris Saint Germain have reportedly made Manchester United target and Napoli star Victor Osimhen their no.1 target this summer as they look to add yet more firepower to an already star-studded attack.

The Nigerian attacker, who was formerly at fellow Ligue 1 side Lille, has exploded into life this season and is leading Napoli to their first Serie A title since 1990.

Currently the Italian top flight’s top goalscorer, Osimhen has found the net 21 times and grabbed a further 4 assists in 23 outings, while he has also scored four times in five Champions League outings to date.

Such form has caught the eye of plenty of Europe’s elite clubs, and with a potential contract extension for Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the works, there is a feeling that Osimhen may be the man to cash in on for the Italian side.

According to Spanish outlet AS, ‘the Napoli striker is Luis Campos’s priority to reinforce the Parisian attack’, with question marks surrounding all of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi’s futures this summer.

Campos was responsible for Osimhen’s initial move to Lille, and having netted his old club a profit of around 50m euros, it is reported that Napoli ‘hope to receive at least 100 million’ for the in-form Nigerian.

Meanwhile, they will also face competition from England, with Chelsea and Manchester United reported to be interested ahead of what could be a tug-of-war for Osimhen’s signature.
