Pogba on his way out of Old Trafford?
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is ‘likely’ to leave the club in the summer, with Real Madrid and Juventus interested in signing him.
Pogba’s future has been a hot topic for a while now.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with an exit from Manchester United in the summer.
Real Madrid were reportedly trying to sign him, but a move never came to fruition.
Pogba has also been linked with a move in the current transfer window.
It was even claimed in December that some at Manchester United thought Pogba had played his last game for the club.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out a January exit for Pogba.
Now, according to reports, Pogba is ‘likely’ to leave Manchester United in the summer.
Pogba ‘likely’ to leave in the summer
According to Sky in Germany, as cited by Sky Sports, Pogba is likely to leave, with Real Madrid and Juventus chasing him.
Though, they claim: ‘United want to keep Pogba at least until the end of the season due to a lack of replacements available on the market in January’.
Interestingly, the report also reveals Pogba’s preferred destination.
It’s claimed that the Frenchman would prefer to link up with compatriot Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
Despite it being ‘likely’ he will leave, it’s suggested that a deal would still be ‘difficult’.
That’s because Manchester United will demand a fee in the region of £150 million.
Both Juventus and Real Madrid may not be willing to pay that much, and a ‘complex’ relationship between Manchester United and Mino Raiola could make a deal even more difficult.
