Ostersunds 3-0 Arsenal
Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in over 20 years when they finished 5th in last season’s Premier League.
Wenger’s team qualified from their group fairly comfortably but their appalling away from continued in European competition as The Gunners lost 1-0 to the Bundesliga’s bottom club, FC Koln.
Arsenal’s opponents in the last 32 of the competition are Swedish minnows, Ostersunds FK, a club that was founded after Arsene Wenger was appointed manager in 1996.
Ostersunds, who are competing in European competition for the first time in their history, have been very actives in the build up to the match on social media.
On Monday, Ostersunds sent Arsenal this tweet making light of the extremely cold weather in Ostersund.

Ostersunds’ third funny tweet
On Wednesday night, the white half of North London was having a brilliant time in Turin.
Tottenham held Italian Champions Juventus to a 2-2 draw in the Champions League and Ostersunds made their allegiance clear.
Ostersunds quickly deleted the Tweet but Arsenal fans surely won’t have appreciated this tweet.
Many Gooners found the first two tweets funny but this may have been seen as a step too far.
Reddit User Shasui366 said “we gotta smash em now” and many Arsenal fans will have reacted in a similar manner.
Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette is ruled out of the match through injury and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible which means that Danny Welbeck is likely to start up front on Thursday night…
