Aston Villa have lost another first-team regular with England forward Ollie Watkins completing his £51m move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
The 30-year old joined Villa from Brentford for a club-record fee of £28m in 2020 and became the club’s leading Premier League goalscorer in an impressive six-year spell.
He leaves Villa Park having scored 108 goals in all competitions [correct on 25 August] and helping them win last year’s Conference League final.
Unai Emery has worked wonders at Villa Park and has Champions League football on the horizon but Watkins is just the latest of a long list of players to leave this summer.
