Odds slashed on Paul Pogba to Real Madrid after recent quotes

Paul Pogba speaks about Real Madrid

Paul Pogba is currently on international duty with France.

After winning the 2018 World Cup, France will now be eyeing Euro 2020 success.

They have been drawn in Group H of the qualifiers along with Albania, Andorra, Iceland, Moldova and Turkey.

France’s first set of qualifiers sees them take on Moldova on Friday and Iceland on Monday.

Ahead of these clashes, Pogba has been speaking to the media and causing quite a stir.

Pogba spoke about the possibility of playing for Real Madrid with the Frenchman stating moving to the Bernabeu would be even better now Zidane is back at the helm.

Pogba then went on to state that while he is currently a Man United player, he doesn’t know what the future holds.

Odds slashed on Pogba to Madrid

Pogba is currently perhaps in the midst of his best ever season in a Man United shirt.

The midfielder has played 37 games across all competitions, in which he has scored 14 and assisted 11.

Given his excellent goal contribution record, it is easy to see with Los Blancos may be interested in him.

As a result, Ladbrokes have slashed odds on Paul Pogba completing a sensational move to Real Madrid this summer.

After admitting a move to the Spanish giants would be a ‘dream for any player’ the bookies responded by slashing odds on the Frenchman swapping Manchester for Madrid this summer to just 4/1 – from 8/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said:

“Pogba’s latest comments have got people talking, and our traders have slashed odds on him making a sensational move as a result.”
