Nottingham Forest team news & predicted line-up vs Leeds United

Steve Cooper’s men have lost just once in their last six Premier League outings (2-3-1) and look to have found firm-footing in their bid to remain in the top flight of English football

Predicted Nottingham Forest XI

Nottingham Forest team news

  • Out: Dean Henderson, Morgan Gibbs-White, Giulian Biancone, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Omar Richards, Moussa Niakhaté, Taiwo Awoniyi, Ryan Yates
  • Doubt: Jack Colback, Chris Wood

Steve Cooper can boast credible form of late along the touchline at the helm of Nottingham Forest but he could be up against it at the weekend against Leeds United on account of a myriad of selection headaches down to multiple fitness concerns.

New signing André Ayew may be pressed into service from the beginning after his deadline day move to the City Ground if Chris Wood is not declared fit for service, though the former Newcastle United and Burnley target man is sure to start if he is available, while Keylor Navas is also in line to make his full debut with Dean Henderson still sidelined through injury.

Cooper remains without a quartet of defensive options in the vein of Giulian Biancone, Cheikhou Kouyaté, Omar Richards, and Moussa Niakhaté, while Morgan Gibbs-White is also set to miss out after coming off injured against Manchester United in midweek, while summer signing Taiwo Awoniyi is also unavailable.
