Premier League preview: Norwich vs Tottenham

Tottenham moved back to within three points of the top four on Thursday with a crucial win over Brighton.

Spurs battled back on Boxing Day with Harry Kane and Dele Alli scoring second-half goals in a 2-1 win.

Giovani Lo Celso made his first Premier League appearance under Jose Mourinho on Thursday and thoroughly impressed.

The Argentine added a much-needed impetus to Spurs’ attack and should be in line to start this weekend.

Elsewhere in the race for the top four, Chelsea’s shock defeat at home to Southampton means that they are once again within touching distance for Spurs.

The Blues travel to the Emirates on Sunday to take on Arsenal and Spurs will be keen to take advantage of another potential falter.

Norwich sat rock-bottom

Norwich’s defeat to Aston Villa on Boxing Day means they are sat rock bottom of the Premier League.

The Canaries are now without a win in six and have lost four times since their last victory.

Losing Ben Godfrey to a knee injury has been a huge blow for Daniel Farke’s side.

The 21-year-old has been crucial for Norwich this season but is set to be sidelined until February.
