Predicted XI

Team News

Eddie Howe should revert back to his usual tactical preferences as Newcastle United lock horns with AC Milan on Tuesday evening in Lombardy.

Sandro Tonali is likely to return to the matchday XI after being rested during the 1-0 win over Brentford on Saturday, and the same should be said for star winger Miguel Almirón, while Anthony Gordon is likely to remain preferred over summer signing Harvey Barnes.

Joe Willock and Emil Krafth both remain absent through injury, while Brazilian international Joelinton remains a serious doubt after picking up a knock during the recent international break. Should he pass fit, expect him to feature on the bench only, with Sean Longstaff remaining in midfield.
