The latest round of Nations League fixtures played out on Sunday night have since given rise to major repercussions for a number of countries.

The most noteworthy come on the back of the action in League A, Groups 1 and 4 .

First off, in the former, Croatia have officially booked their spot in the Nations League’s finals, owing to a 3-1 win at Austria.

Ralf Rangnick’s Austria, on the other hand, have in turn been condemned to relegation from League A, sparing the blushes of world champions France, who slipped to another defeat at the hands of Denmark on Sunday.

Next up, in Group 4, the Netherlands joined Croatia in the Nations League’s final-four, courtesy of a Virgil van Dijk-inspired downing of Belgium.

Poland’s triumph over Wales, though, means that the latter have too been forced to face up to demotion to League B.

Last up, in Group D, Andorra and Latvia settled for a point apiece in a 1-1 stalemate, whilst Moldova got the better of Liechtenstein.
