Ralf Rangnick’s Austria, on the other hand, have in turn been condemned to relegation from League A, sparing the blushes of world champions France, who slipped to another defeat at the hands of Denmark on Sunday.
Next up, in Group 4, the Netherlands joined Croatia in the Nations League’s final-four, courtesy of a Virgil van Dijk-inspired downing of Belgium.
