Haaland excelled in the Bundesliga with Dortmund, scoring nearly one goal a game.
However, as is the case with every player who makes the jump from the Bundesliga to the Premier League, there was some doubt over Haalandβs ability to match his BVB form for Man City.
But those fears were quickly quashed this past weekend when Haaland made his competitive City debut and netted twice vs West Ham.
The Norwegian is expected to continue his perfect start with some more goals this weekend vs a Bournemouth side who have never beaten Manchester City.
Ahead of the game, Nathan Ake has been discussing Haaland and outlined what the hitman brings to Manchester City:
βIt [getting the most out of him] comes with time. What we do on the training pitch, the more he knows the way the team plays, and we know the way he plays – I think that will come over time. But you can see already what kind of striker he is,β Ake said.
Ake added: βHeβs tough [to defend against]. So strong, fast, powerful. When you go tight, he runs in behind because heβs quick. When you give him too much space, he comes to feet. Heβs a deadly weapon for us because heβs got it all really.β
