Mykhaylo Mudryk joins the list: 10 most expensive transfers in Premier League history

The 10 most expensive players in Premier League history has been updated this week.

Despite countless links to Arsenal over the last few weeks, it has been reported on Sunday that Chelsea have agreed a stunning £89m deal to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk under the nose of Arsenal, who had made the Shakhtar Donetsk winger their top transfer target.

£89m is a huge sum and further increased the mammoth amount of funds Todd Boehly has shovelled into the club since his arrival last year.

Mudryk has scored 10 and assisted eight in 18 games across all competitions for Shakhtar this season, but £89m still remains a lot of money for someone with no experience in any of Europe’s top-five leagues.

Regardless, the Mudryk signing is one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history.

And now, 101GreatGoals have put together a list of the 10 most expensive signings made by Premier League sides.
