Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga details ‘special moment’ with Cristiano Ronaldo

Anthony Elanga has been speaking about a special moment he shared with Manchester United teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Elanga has spent much of his short career to date on the books of Manchester United, racking up 37 and 29 appearances for their under-23 and under-18 sides respectively.

Now though, with Elanga 20 and United short on attacking options, the Sweden native has been handed a more prominent role in United’s starting eleven of late.

So far this season, Elanga has made 18 Premier League appearances and three Champions League appearances this term. In said ties, the 20-year-old has scored three and assisted one.

With Elanga now firmly part of United’s senior side, he has, of course, been working with Cristiano Ronaldo on a daily basis.

The youngster would also assist the Portuguese when he netted a hat-trick vs Norwich last month.

Now, in a recent interview, Elanga has been discussing his celebration with Ronaldo vs Norwich, which he described as a special moment:

"That was an exciting time, the double SIUUU!" he told United Review. "I didn't expect it. He said: 'Let's do it'. I said: 'Fair enough' but, if you see in the video, I didn't really get into the air properly!

"But I managed to do it anyway and it was a special moment.

"He is someone I look up to and speak to and ask for advice and stuff. He is a special player to work with."
