Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will be a mixed bag of emotions when it comes to his squad selection options at the weekend during their away day against Vincent Kompany and winless Burnley.
The Dutch tactician, who presided over the Red Devil’s 4-3 loss against Bayern Munich to open their Champions League campaign yesterday, remains without the services of Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Out-of-favor center-back Harry Maguire is also a possible doubt after missing the midweek fixture with a muscle issue.
Ten Hag could be boosted by the possible returns of Raphaël Varane and Mason Mount, however, with the Frenchman likely to be called upon if he passes fit. Summer signing Sofyan Amrabat is also potentially in line for a debut appearance in some capacity.
