The Red Devils headed into the tie looking to make it three wins on the bounce this summer.
Erik ten Hag kicked off his reign at United by smashing Liverpool 4-0. This was followed by United coming from 1-0 down to beat Australian outfit Melbourne Victory 4-1.
And on Tuesday, United look set to continue their fine season form.
The Manchester outfit dominated the early exchanges of the match vs a weak Crystal Palace side and would take the lead after 18 minutes.
Tyrell Malacia found Diogo Dalot on the edge of the Palace box, who then whipped a lovely ball into Anthony Martial who controlled well and slotted in his third pre-season goal in three outings.
